“I’m so proud to see that through my hard work and that of my team, we have built trust with our industry partners”
Victoria Coster,
Credit Fix Solutions
Evelyn Clark has been on the fast track to success since venturing boldly into the mortgage broking industry five years ago. As head broker at Everlend, her passion for educating clients on finance and an unwavering commitment to improving industry standards have garnered her the respect of her peers and several prestigious awards, including being named an Elite Woman of 2023 by MPA. Her forward-thinking perspective, determination and drive help clients attain their short-term goals and position them for future success.
“My willingness to go the extra mile for my clients is non-negotiable,” she says. “I understand that obtaining a mortgage can be a significant milestone in their lives, and I am dedicated to providing a seamless and personalised experience throughout the process.”
Clark’s exceptional leadership and expertise in the mortgage broking field motivate and inspire others around her. Among her most significant accomplishments is the fact that other young women regard her as a role model.
Aspiring female brokers frequently contact her for advice and support on their career journeys. Clark generously shares her knowledge and experience with them, imparting her highest value of financial education as a crucial factor in achieving success and delivering first-rate client service.
Admittedly, Clark’s fast-paced approach to business proves to be both a benefit and a challenge. That mindset drives her to constantly push for more and strive for excellence, reminding her of the importance of balance.
Her biggest challenge is carving out time to create educational content on a larger scale while also taking care of existing clients and bringing on new ones.
A firm believer in continuous growth and development for herself and her team, Clark invests in ongoing learning activities monthly and believes it’s the best investment one can make in themselves once the foundations are in place.
“I am certainly not someone who settles for average and am constantly looking at ways to improve our clients’ experiences, be on the front foot of delivering financial education, and be a trusted adviser to our ongoing clients,” she says. “This means we have had to invest in talent and technology to service more people at a higher level.”
Two of Clark’s most vital qualities are her ability to think outside the box and her long-game perspective, which she harnesses to build relationships with clients and partners and ensure the future growth and success of Everlend.
Rounding out her business owner’s tool kit is creativity and an enthusiasm for developing educational solutions for clients that have reached people on a broader level.
“I am not afraid to challenge conventional practices and explore new opportunities to serve my clients better,” she says.
Clark believes the recognition she has so far received, which includes accolades as a young leader and broker of the year and top nods for her brokerage, plays a crucial role in inspiring and empowering other women to pursue careers in finance broking.

Coster brings depth and breadth of experience to her current position, having joined the industry as a mortgage processor before leaping into broking. She later honed her credit reporting education and credit repair skills for several years while working directly for various brokers.
“Starting Credit Fix Solutions was a deliberate move, as I saw there was a niche in ‘no win, no fee’ credit repair that the industry didn’t currently offer,” she says.
As a CEO, Coster learned through business coaching that there are no challenges in business, only opportunities to learn and grow. She wholeheartedly adopted that perspective, enabling her to overcome the obstacles inherent in team management and implement new and improved systems. She employs several strategies for challenging situations, such as following routines, forward planning, sleeping well and exercising.
“If I make sure I look after myself, have a plan of action, and I’m organised, then I can overcome any challenge (opportunity to learn) if and when it presents itself,” Coster says.
A firm believer in the power of leadership, Coster strives to set an example that the next generation of women and men can look up to. She prides herself on her reliability and trustworthiness and is the first person to show up and the last to leave the workplace.
“I’m genuinely keen to keep bettering myself,” she says. “Even now, at the top of my game, I’m still always learning.”
Guided by her favourite quote, “It’s better to be green and growing than ripe and rotting”, Coster constantly stokes her curiosity and keeps an open mind about life and business. Her kindness, positive attitude, business acumen and dedication to her profession make her a trusted and valuable partner to her peers and the mortgage industry.
