Karlie Scharfenberg is the founder and senior finance broker at The Loans Suite, a boutique finance brokerage she built from the ground up in 2016. With over 20 years of experience in the finance and banking industry, she brings deep expertise, passion and a client-first approach to everything she does.
Known for her ability to simplify complex financial situations, Karlie specialises in residential and commercial lending, investment property strategies, car and equipment finance and SMSF lending. Her mission is to empower Australians to create wealth through smart lending decisions – whether that’s buying their first home, growing a property portfolio, or structuring their finances for long-term security.
Karlie holds a diploma in finance and mortgage broking management and is a Justice of the Peace in NSW. A significant part of his focus today is staying ahead of regulatory change while maintaining a seamless client experience. He tracks updates from regulators and lenders closely and works with his teams to adjust systems as needed.
“My approach to my role and my career has always been rooted in passion, focus, and a relentless pursuit of excellence,” he says. “I’ve never been driven solely by profit or business metrics. I believe in hiring great talent, trusting them, and pushing boundaries because innovation doesn’t come from playing it safe.”
