Laith Hana set his sights on finance early, drawn by the difference it could make in people’s lives.
Purpose and opportunity shaped his career. The route was never fully mapped, but he moved with intent, learning, growing and building towards something meaningful.
Founding House of Finance was the logical continuation, created to simplify lending and deliver real value grounded in trust and education.
“Building House of Finance from the ground up has been my proudest achievement,” he says. “Seeing it grow from an idea into one of Australia’s leading independent brokerages, trusted by thousands of clients, is incredibly rewarding. It represents more than business success; it’s proof that a values-driven, client-first approach can truly reshape how people experience finance.”
Balancing growth with consistency has become the ongoing challenge. Hana focuses on leadership, systems and people so the business can expand while maintaining the personal connection and care that define it. He calls that link between structure and culture the key to sustainable progress.

“I approach my role with accountability, curiosity and a focus on progress. I believe in leading by example, learning continuously and finding better ways to serve our clients and team,” he adds. “For me, long-term success comes from consistency, showing up every day with purpose and a genuine commitment to helping people achieve their financial goals.”
Most of the brokerage’s growth comes through referrals, earned by being consistent, communicative and outcome-driven. The strategy is built on relationships, not transactions, and on positioning the team as financial partners who understand their clients’ goals beyond the loan.
Retention follows the same logic. The team stays connected well beyond settlement, running regular reviews, monitoring market changes and ensuring every client remains on a competitive loan. The goal is to be a lifelong financial partner, not just a one-time broker.
Over the past year, House of Finance has refined its systems, strengthened communication, and enhanced internal processes so that every client receives the same level of service, regardless of loan size or complexity.
