Peter White, AM is the managing director of the FBAA. He started working as a volunteer for the company in 2003.
White’s banking and finance career spans over 45 years. He is a strong and passionate advocate for the industry, a registered lobbyist, and a leading advocate and ambassador for mental health awareness.
White established and is the current global chairman of the International Mortgage Brokers Federation). He also sits on the Small Business Association of Australia’s advisory board.
White was recognised in the 2019 Queen’s Birthday Honours List with an “AM”, Member of the Order of Australia, for significant services to industry and the community.

Nick Lane joined the FBAA in January 2021 as finance manager and was later promoted to CFO in July 2022. With a bachelor’s degree in commerce, including majors in accounting and finance, he is a certified member of CPA Australia.
Lane has significant experience in the not-for-profit sector, having held senior positions in several membership-based organisations, including at the Queensland Hotels Association and the Australian Airports Association (including deputy CEO and company secretary). In his current role, he is responsible for financial, operational risk and human resources management, along with direct oversight of key operational areas of the business.

With a robust background in legal consulting and management, she brings over 13 years of legal expertise, with a particular focus on practice management and technology-driven operational enhancements. Her adaptability, innovative problem-solving and adept communication drive her success in resolving complex operational challenges. Her tenure at FBAA is marked by her commitment to elevating organisational effectiveness and fostering a dynamic workplace culture.

She has deep experience handling various types of complex litigation claims against car dealerships and managing claim teams. Palmer leverages this experience to support the company’s underwriters understanding of coverage. She also leverages her vast claim expertise in her primary role as a trusted partner for Amynta’s policyholders. Paul Zahensky joined REInsurePro in 2023, bringing with him over 35 years of experience in the P&C insurance technology industry. He has worked for tier 1 carrier organizations in senior leadership roles, guided the development of insurance solutions for vendor organizations and assisted colleagues with carrier transformation programs. As CIO, Zahensky utilizes his expertise to develop and implement solutions that fit the company’s business model and satisfy its needs.
