Marty Frenette began his career on Wall Street in 2000 while working in the treasury department of one of the largest broker/dealers in the world. In 2013, he began his role as senior vice president and treasurer for a mortgage financing company, where his contributions were instrumental to achieving a Schedule I Bank License.
Frenette co-founded Strive in 2020 and assumed the role of president and CEO, leading the successful launch of a start-up with tremendous potential to grow in the Canadian residential lending space.

Steve Kissuk is a senior operations leader with over 20 years of national mortgage lending experience. He has successfully managed all aspects of residential mortgage lending across multiple platforms, with a focus on prime, near-prime, and private lending originations.
His core philosophy of transparency and collaboration, as well as his sound understanding of the balance between underlying credit risk against mortgage origination, drove annual prime originations in excess of $8 billion and near-prime originations in excess of $600 million. Kissuk also played a key role in the multi-year application process and approval of a Schedule I Bank license for Strive.

He played a pivotal role in another mortgage financing entity’s successful application for a Schedule I Bank license and oversaw their growth in prime and non-prime mortgages under administration to over $28 billion.
