With almost 11 years in finance and seven in mortgages, Prashant Chudasama has built his career on solving complex problems, developing people, and building relationships that last.
As underwriting manager at Spire Mortgage, he has helped build the underwriting operation from the ground up. What began with him carrying much of the underwriting function has grown into a team and infrastructure capable of supporting significant volume, including more than 510 lender submissions and 362 funded mortgages in 2025.
But volume has never been the measure that matters most to Chudasama. He takes particular pride in helping brokers grow their businesses, acting as a strategic partner on difficult files, client conversations, and scenarios that require more than a standard approval. Many of those relationships, with brokers and lenders alike, have grown into genuine friendships.
Today, he continues to develop new underwriting talent while helping refine Spire’s systems and exploring how technology and AI can make underwriting smarter without losing the human connection behind it.
Chudasama’s philosophy is simple: the best mortgage isn’t simply the one that gets approved – it’s the one that leaves every person in the process wanting to work together again.
