“I’m so proud to see that through my hard work and that of my team, we have built trust with our industry partners”
Victoria Coster,
Credit Fix Solutions
Veronica Love is passionate about the Canadian mortgage brokering and real estate landscapes. Throughout the past 20 years, she has held progressive roles within these two industries. She is the current chair of Mortgage Professionals Canada and is SVP of corporate development at TMG The Mortgage Group.
Throughout her roles in this industry, Love always finds ways to provide value to others outside of her immediate role. As a regular contributor to Women in the Mortgage Industry (WIMI), she was recognized as WIMI of the Year in 2017. She has also regularly appeared on CMP’s Hot List (2018, 2019, 2020). In 2019, she was awarded the Outstanding Representative Award by the CMBA Ontario. In the same year, Love was awarded the inaugural Woman of Distinction Award at the Canadian Mortgage Awards. She was also named a Woman of Influence by CMP magazine multiple times in 2015 and 2018–21. Rounding out her accomplishments, she was recognized by CMP as an industry icon in 2020.
Love continually supports numerous causes near and dear to her heart, including health charities and women’s and children’s shelters. A case in point for her dedication is that she is the captain of the Women Wish Granters team, where she recruited team members, many of whom were within the mortgage industry, for the Make-a-Wish Rope for Hope. She was not only a top fundraiser across Canada (raising close to $40K), but she and her team also rappelled 30 stories down Toronto City Hall, and the team has raised over $197K for this great cause to date. She herself rappelled seven times.
Additionally, Love has been a professor and board member for the Humber College PR/Event Management Certificate Program, a board member on the Aurora Youth Soccer Association and served on the Make-A-Wish Capital Cabinet. In her spare time, she has volunteered for her daughter’s hockey team as a certified trainer.

Coster brings depth and breadth of experience to her current position, having joined the industry as a mortgage processor before leaping into broking. She later honed her credit reporting education and credit repair skills for several years while working directly for various brokers.
“Starting Credit Fix Solutions was a deliberate move, as I saw there was a niche in ‘no win, no fee’ credit repair that the industry didn’t currently offer,” she says.
As a CEO, Coster learned through business coaching that there are no challenges in business, only opportunities to learn and grow. She wholeheartedly adopted that perspective, enabling her to overcome the obstacles inherent in team management and implement new and improved systems. She employs several strategies for challenging situations, such as following routines, forward planning, sleeping well and exercising.
“If I make sure I look after myself, have a plan of action, and I’m organised, then I can overcome any challenge (opportunity to learn) if and when it presents itself,” Coster says.
A firm believer in the power of leadership, Coster strives to set an example that the next generation of women and men can look up to. She prides herself on her reliability and trustworthiness and is the first person to show up and the last to leave the workplace.
“I’m genuinely keen to keep bettering myself,” she says. “Even now, at the top of my game, I’m still always learning.”
Guided by her favourite quote, “It’s better to be green and growing than ripe and rotting”, Coster constantly stokes her curiosity and keeps an open mind about life and business. Her kindness, positive attitude, business acumen and dedication to her profession make her a trusted and valuable partner to her peers and the mortgage industry.
