Leah Zlatkin is a highly accomplished leader in the Canadian mortgage industry, currently serving as the COO at Mortgage Outlet (MO) while also actively managing her own book of business as a broker. Over the past three years, she has successfully grown the company from 50 to over 230 agents, overseeing all operational functions, including underwriters, compliance, and recruitment. Zlatkin developed a HUB processing 40-60 files per month and previously strategized the creation of a custom CRM for the team, designed to incorporate extensive automation for improved efficiency. She also played a key role in partnering MO with TMG, a collaboration that will bring enhanced operational efficiencies and economies of scale for agents.
Zlatkin’s leadership has earned significant recognition, including the 2021 Canadian Mortgage Professional’s Woman of Influence award, along with multiple industry accolades. She is frequently quoted in major media outlets such as CMP magazine, BNN, Bloomberg, the Globe and Mail, and CTV. She has also been invited to speak at the House of Commons Committee in Parliament, providing insights on federal housing investments.
In addition to her operational success, Zlatkin is a passionate advocate for women in the industry, mentoring many and contributing to the fact that 70% of MO’s top brokers are women. As president of the Canadian Mortgage Brokers Association (CMBA), she leads initiatives to enhance education, networking, and professional development for over 900 industry members.
