Profile
When Sharnjit Singh Gill stepped off the plane in Canada in 1995, he carried not only his suitcases, but also his dream of building a new life and career in this country.
His first break came in 1996 at BMO’s Scottsdale branch in Surrey, BC, where he learned everything about the industry and understood what home means to people. By 2001, he had mustered the courage to become an independent mortgage broker. Having no corporate safety net, he relied mainly on his own ability to build relationships. Eventually, his growing network spread the word about his business, helping him earn the trust of more clients.
His efforts would lead to a string of achievements over the past 15 years, including recognition among the Top 25 Mortgage Brokers and being ranked #1 in Cost of Capital Savings for three years running, from 2015 to 2017. By 2002, he had become Envision Credit Union’s Mortgage Broker – an honour that he would receive again in 2003, 2018, and 2019.
Other accolades were being TD Bank’s #2 Mortgage Broker in Fraser Valley in 2014 and earning a seat at Scotiabank’s President’s Club for four consecutive years (2021–2024).
Today, Gill manages a team of four who integrate their abilities into the power of one. One client at a time, one conversation at a time, one dream home at a time.

“At this stage in my career, I’m not trying to impress clients with technical language. I’m focused on helping them make better decisions”
William Chan,
Modern Vision Planning, Sterling Mutuals Inc.
“A message is only as strong as the receiver’s ability to understand it. Good intent isn’t enough if the client can’t clearly see the benefits and trade-offs”
