“No matter how many clients I have, I make sure to call each one personally every quarter. It’s a chance to not only update them on their portfolio, but also check on how they’re doing personally”
Kelvin Rampersad,
Carte Wealth Management
Being in the banking industry for over 20 years has given Katherine Kraakman a great lead into becoming a mortgage adviser. She has learned so many great skills in banking throughout the different management roles that have been incredibly helpful now that she is a business owner and has seven advisers on her team.
Kraakman loves what she does, and after all these years, she still gets a great level of excitement out of making people’s dreams come true by helping them into their first home or guiding them with an investment portfolio. Her goal is, and has always been, to make things as easy as possible for her clients so that they can enjoy the process. A lot of her business comes from her existing clients and client referrals, which is the best testimonial she could ever ask for.
Kraakman likes to spend as much time as possible with her amazing family and furry friends, as they bring her so much joy. She also now has a little grandson, whom she has devoted herself to having every Friday. Kraakman emphasises that having a grandchild is a whole different level of amazing. She manages to fit her work week into four days, from Monday to Thursday, which is such a good work-life balance.
Kraakman’s hobbies outside of family and work are long walks at the beach, spending time with friends, and keeping herself fit with bike rides and daily gym sessions.
