Jen Qu is the founder of MortgageGPT, a smart mortgage advisory practice built around Great People Together – a trusted team, a strong professional network, and clients united by a shared vision of long-term value.
Jen began her New Zealand journey in 2015 with a single suitcase and a dream of building a new life. Through determination and continuous learning, she gradually built her career and her community. Over the years, Jen has helped many families and business owners navigate complex lending situations and achieve their goals.
With double degrees in chemistry and finance, Jen began her professional career at PwC, where she developed a strong foundation in risk assessment, compliance, and financial analysis. With more than a decade of lending experience, she now specialises in residential and commercial finance, crafting loan structures that truly fit each client’s needs.
Influence, to her, isn’t about titles; it’s about creating opportunities for others. A mentor to younger advisers and a strong advocate for expat women in business, Jen is committed to empowering others to fulfil their dreams.
Outside of work, Jen is a proud dog mum to two border collies, a daily reminder to keep life grounded in balance and joy.
