Varun Singla brings an enviable background of business success to Trugood Finance. His New Zealand business journey began by developing a successful retail business, deepening his understanding of how to run a business in this country. He has worked across various sectors, including retail, banking, insurance, and corporate, and has successfully managed both franchise and non-franchise businesses before transitioning to a financial adviser role. With over a decade of hands-on experience as a property investor in New Zealand, Singla takes pride in his career, which involves cultivating a trusted network of clients and business associates.
Within the first 18 months of his finance business, he earned recognition as one of the Top Advisers (Elite Group) with the lender nationwide. Along with this, he also received an Excellence in Lending Award and the Top Brokerage 2024 Award.
Singla is dedicated to understanding clients’ needs and always puts them first, whether it’s for their first home purchase, investment property acquisition, restructure or refinance. He is particularly proud of his efforts to educate first home buyers and make their initial purchase as smooth as possible.
His focus includes providing expert advice on lending for properties (owner-occupied, rental and commercial), short-term lending and business loans. “With each acquisition and de novo formation, a large branding component is involved,” says Phillips Topping.
Speaking on the importance of spotlighting marketing professionals, Phillips Topping says, “It’s imperative to shine a light on those who aren’t necessarily brokers or underwriters. There are so many different aspects of the industry. It’s nice to show all the great work that’s being done behind the scenes.”
